Lunar phases, seasons, history, life, death, water, growth. 
When I think of spirals and cycles, so many things come to mind. 
There are spirals in the ocean, in space, on our bodies (think cochlea and fingerprints)

And visually speaking, spirals soothe me. 

These 1/2" (15mm) brass discs are connected with my hands
using 14k gold-filled rings.
